Product Overview - Re:Gen

Reduce Risk and Maximise Profit through smarter effluent management

Re:Gen helps you turn dairy effluent from a problem into a sustainable solution. Now Regen and DataCol have teamed up to offer you even more value. We believe having more information allows you to manage your farm more efficiently and provides peace of mind.

Re:Gen fully automated systems take the guesswork out of compliance, and ensures that you maximise your farm's commercial potential. Effluent run-off or leaching is not just a pollutant; it also represents wasted nutrients, which increases fertilizer costs and reduces margins. Likewise, maintaining an over-sized storage pond inflates costs unnecessarily and cuts into farm profits.

DataCol's Collect unit regularly samples data from your farm, while Re:Gen calculates the exact level of effluent that can be safely spread, and sends you that information via a daily text message and secure web page.

Armed with this knowledge, you can confidently use dairy effluent to promote sustainable pasture growth, reducing the need for more fertilizer, reducing costs and protecting the land and waterways.

Key Product Features and Options

A daily message you can rely on!
DataCol's Collect unit samples on farm data for rainfall, soil moisture, soil temperature and effluent pond levels. Based on collected data, you receive a daily text message and email about the amount of effluent you can safely apply. The text recommendation is farm specific, based not only on soil moisture, but on soil risk type and irrigator type.

The daily text provides the following information:

  • Whether you should irrigate today or not.
  • If yes, how many millimeters can be safely spread
  • Soil temperature
  • Rainfall in the last 24 hours

Re:Gen customers can login to a secure website at their convenience to get further information about their farm conditions.

Proven and reliable equipment:

  • A range of sensors are installed on your farm (for example soil moisture, soil temperature, rainfall to transmit data through the DataCol Collect unit).
  • Solar powered farm equipment is installed (located anywhere and easily moved)
  • Not reliant on fixed battery life.
  • Antennae options for improved data transmission in poor cellular coverage areas.
